Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I am thankful that it did not catch me by surprise this year! Emry likes to deliver handmade Valentine’s to her classmates in lieu of the boxed variety, though we often do not remember until last minute and mama gets to be the one to stay up late putting the finishing touches on her lovely creations. Before we go further, let me give you a little bit of my crafting background. I love the idea of crafting and I do possess a few creative genes, though I am also a diehard perfectionist. The disorganized chaos that usually accompanies crafts is very hard for me to stomach, not to mention the knot that grows larger in my tummy when my projects are not perfectly aligned, don’t match the tutorial, etc. – you get the idea.
