Consumers Advocate Rates Nutrisystem Top Five Pick

Good morning! First I have to admit – this blog has not gotten any love from me in months. It fell to the back burner of normal busy life with the caveat that I would start posting again when I had time. Today is the day, my friends. My to-do list is finally caught up and I am able to sit down and give this blog the attention it hasn’t received for a very long time. The power of a calendar being completely wiped clean due to a pandemic is something to be in awe of and something I certainly never saw coming so I’m making the best of it!

In late summer of last year, Steven of Consumers Advocate reached out to be via email to share their review of Nutrisystem. I will preface this with – Jeff and I are no longer on Nutrisystem. Our time with the diet plan has ended due to reaching goals and not wishing to continue receiving the food but we still very firmly stand behind our success and the success of the program as a whole.

I took the time to read Consumers Advocate’s review of Nutrisystem and it is extremely thorough. If you have any questions at all about this plan, this is the place to go. In addition to a full description of the diet plan itself, they break down the pricing and what you can expect to receive at each price point. If you have decided to continue with Nutrisystem and it is feeling cost prohibitive, please check out my article on 8 Ways To Save Money on Nutrisystem. Be sure to scroll through the comments – many followers have included new ways to save or updates to my tips over the past years.

In addition to Nutrisytem – they have vetted 25 popular weight-loss plan companies and chosen their top 5 to rate & review. You can see their research of all the diet plans here. This website is an incredibly valuable place to begin if you are deciding what weight-loss plan to invest in but aren’t quite ready to take the financial plunge. Consumers Advocate has committed over 200 hours of research so that you can compare all of the plans and make the best choice to fit your lifestyle and budget. I remember when I first started looking for a weight loss plan. The amount of information out there is astronomical, most of it not complete, much of it was biased and in the end the search was pretty exhausting. The guesswork is taken out of your search with Consumers Advocate. All of their research is laid out in an easy-to-understand format as they cover all aspects of each plan.

https://www.consumersadvocate.org/ has been bookmarked on my computer and has a new follower in me, I highly recommend checking them out.

So what are Jeff & I doing now? I am currently training to hike Mt Rainier in Washington in August 2020. We are trying out intermittent fasting and so far find it to be the easiest and least prohibitive “diet” we have ever tried. I strongly recommend the book The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung. It was recommended by our pediatrician and is a very informative resource. It just so happens that Consumers Advocate has research to share on IF as well and you can view that here. If you are interested in following along with my training for Mt Rainier you can find it at Flatlander Adventures!

It was awesome catching up, thank you for stopping by and I hope you can find all of the information you need to jump start or continue your weight-loss journey. Always feel free to comment and stop back by here – even though I’m not currently an active poster I always check comments and love to hear about your personal journeys!

XOXO – Rebekah
