The weather has been unseasonably warm for several days here in Kansas so on Sunday we had to pull out some warm weather clothes. Except for holidays, on Sundays I mostly dress the kids in what I call “Sunday casual”. More dressed up than play clothes but not to the nines. They are kids after all, and I have learned my lesson that it will always be the most expensive clothes that get ruined! Up until Emry was a toddler I used to dress her in all the cutest clothes but I would also freak out if she wasn’t the picture of perfection while wearing them. Before Liam was born, I had mentally prepared myself for the fact that his clothes were going to ruined. I was also feeling a little sad because I thought I wouldn’t be able to find anything cute for a boy to wear 🙂 In reality, I have had so much choosing outfits for him! This outfit is simple & easy Spring casual. I don’t always put so much of the same color in one outfit, but the pinstripe shorts were understated enough that I pulled out the light blue in the shorts with a bright color pop in the shirt. I bought the little boat shoes on clearance at a local children’s boutique – Bella Luna Boutique. I love the look of Sperry’s but couldn’t justify the price so these shoes were just right!
