Family Focus Challenge | Week Eleven

Early this year I realized that I was doing a very poor job of documenting our family in pictures. Here and there I would snap random snapshots but I was left feeling frustrated because I was not capturing the types of photographs that I desired. I became determined to create portraiture and documentary photographs that I could be proud of. I attended a couple of amazing workshops and I taught myself how to use manual mode, as well as shooting in RAW and editing in Photoshop. I have used that determination to capture the personality of my children on a daily basis. Not every picture is a stunning work of art, but I am capturing memories. Not everyone will have the same drive that I did to learn my camera inside out, but I find photography very intriguing and this was the right fit for me. My cousin-in-law, the talent behind Stremel Photography – is hosting a family-focused 365 challenge and I jumped in feet first because it was just what I needed to start taking notice of the little moments in our day that are usually forgotten and go unnoticed. Here is week 11 of my endeavor:

67 | 365 {together}

68 | 365 {dark}

 69 | 365 {up}

Processed with VSCOcam with t1 preset

70 | 365 {selfie}

71 | 365 {low}

72 | 365 {blessed} to be married to my Prince Charming

Processed with VSCOcam with c2 preset

73 | 365 {faith} in my heavenly Father that He will provide beauty in all sadness

Have a blessed day!
