What was in Bluum Box April 2014?
Just received our third Bluum box yesterday afternoon! Subscription boxes are just so much fun to get in the mail 🙂
I carefully chose Bluum Box based on their ratings and other mommy blog reviews, so do your due diligence to make sure this subscription box is a good fit for your family before shelling out the cash! You can also read more about Bluum Box at their website here. Bluum Box is a monthly subscription box service. They hand pick new goodies for mommy and kiddos ages 0-5. The content in each box is based on the age, gender and developmental stages of your child.
Bluum Box also features a really stellar and easy-to-use referral program, one of the best I have seen so far. Refer Bluum Box to friends and family, and you will receive FREE boxes in return. PLUS they have a neat points system with opportunities to earn free boxes by accruing points via leaving product reviews on their website and posting a picture of your box on social media.
So what was in our box?
*Note: My price comparisons reflect the best bargain per item that I can find on the internet in order to determine if the Bluum Box is truly worth the cost.
We received the email that our box shipped on 4/17. Our box arrived yesterday, 4/23.
They included a large cardstock note that outlines their referral program, and what age the box is geared toward.
№ 1. Bright Baby Who’s My Mom? Board Book ($4.46) Ages 1+. We love Bright Baby books at our house! We have several but don’t have any of this travel size. The slide & find feature is fun for little hands and the bright colors and real life pictures of animals are just awesome to keep Liam’s attention. In addition, the extra thick pages are so easy for toddlers to turn.
№ 2. Tom’s Toddler Training Toothpaste – 1.75 oz ($3.99) 3-24 Months. We already use Tom’s adult and children’s toothpaste at our house, so I was happy to find a NEW product from Tom’s in our box! Perfect timing because we just started brushing Liam’s teeth every day around 12-months old. Why we love Tom’s – no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, safe if swallowed, fluoride-free, natural, non-foaming formula, SLS-free, gluten-free, no animal testing or animal ingredients, and the list goes on! Added bonus, we also received a $1.00 off coupon for any Tom’s product!
№ 3. Klorane Dry Shampoo with Nettle – 3.2 oz ($18.48) New brand alert for mommy! Crazy timing, I was just in the market to test out dry shampoo but hadn’t gotten around to buying any brands yet – cannot wait to give it a try!
№ 4. Angel Dear Yellow Cyclop Blankie ($13.00). Another new brand alert for mommy! Never heard of Angel Dear before this box, and after perusing their website – they make some absolutely adorable products for babies and toddlers. Will have to check it out next time I need a shower gift! I personally would not have chosen the cyclop blankie, but Liam has latched onto this soft one-eyed guy 🙂
№ 5. BeginAgain Earthworms ($9.68) 12 Months+. Bluum turned us on to the BeginAgain brand last month with a rolling toy. I do love a good eco-friendly wooden toy for toddlers! Liam has been playing around with this cute little toy since we opened the box. Perfect size for little hands, and it’s “squirmy” and keeps his attention. Really like this toy, very cute!
In all, I received five items with a total value of $50.61. I have purchased the annual subscription, so I paid $18.98 for each box.
Total Items: 5
Total Value: $50.61
What I Paid: $18.98
Total Savings: $31.63
Very happy with my Bluum Box this month! We will use every single product in the box AND each item was perfectly age appropriate. Can’t wait to see what next month has in store!
